South Africa’s voiceover industry is getting ready for a big night after The South African Voiceover Awards (TVSA) announced its list of nominees.

The event has been scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at the Indaba Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg. The Voiceover Factory started the awards to lift industry standards and give credit to the talents who shape the way we hear stories on radio, TV, and digital media.
Marking its debut year, The AWARDS will recognise voiceover talents across 15 categories, from demos to commercials, drama, audiobook narration, e-learning, and even multilingual performances.
Among the big highlights, well-known voice artist Carol Ofori scored two nominations: one in the Station Voice category for her work with 947 radio and another for Best Audiobook Narration in Roslyn Toerien’s audiobook, ‘The Feathered 5’. Well-known voice artist Anton Schmidt will also receive an honorary award, along with other respected winners.
This is a proud moment for South Africa’s creative industry and an important step in giving voice talents the recognition they deserve. Congratulations to all the nominees.
