Association of Voice-Over Artistes (AVOA) Nigeria has once again entrusted the leadership of its affairs to veteran Nollywood actor and voice-over expert, Segun Arinze, re-electing him as President for another term.

The announcement was made following a recent general meeting, where members unanimously endorsed Arinze for continued leadership.
In an official statement shared with AVOA members, Arinze expressed his gratitude and outlined his renewed vision for the future of the association.
According to him, the next four years will focus on deepening professional development, creating more opportunities for younger talents, and reinforcing support for seasoned members.
During his first term, Arinze championed key initiatives such as AVOA VOICEFEST, the Association’s flagship talent development program, which has become a cornerstone for training, networking, and creative growth in the voice-over community.
He also emerged as a strong advocate for the protection of Nigerian voice talents, taking a firm stance on industry issues, including the ban on foreign voice actors in local content.
The newly elected AVOA executive team includes:
- President – Segun Arinze
- Vice President – Malam Abdul Mohamed
- General Secretary – Joy Ogbekene
- Assistant General Secretary – Ngozi Ofili
- Finance Director – Tessy Brown
- Business Director – Busari Esh Olatunji
- Publicity Director – Sabur Garba
- Chief Whip – Funke Laode
