Canadian actor Megan Fahlenbock is bringing back her popular MegPlay voiceover workouts and workshops this September. This is a chance for voice actors to level up their skills and connect with the community.
These virtual sessions will cover everything from audition practice and commercial reads to exploring vocal texture and building character. The schedule kicks off on Friday, September 12 (4 – 6 pm EST) with audition practice, script analysis, and goal setting. On Monday, September 15 (12 – 2 pm EST). Participants will dive into Commercials 101, a practical session dedicated to commercial reads. Then on Tuesday, September 16 (3 – 5 pm EST), the focus shifts to, encouraging voice actors to choose creativity and confidence in their delivery.
Adding to the excitement, Canadian Casting Director Kali Kuzyk of Boom Box Sound and Picture will be joining as a special guest later that day in the Commercial Audition Workshop (6:30 – 9:30 pm EST). Kuzyk will provide live direction, Q&A opportunities, and even a chance for participants to audition directly for her making this workshop a unique opportunity for aspiring and professional voice actors alike.
