The wait is almost over! Makers of the well-received animated Nigerian Super Hero series, Iyanu have made a major announcement in August for its ever-growing fan base.
The critically acclaimed television show will now have a movie titled: ‘Iyanu: The Age of Wonders’.

This epic animated movie, a prequel to the hit series Iyanu, features new heroes, villains, and legends voiced by an incredible cast featuring renowned Nollywood and Hollywood actors as well as internationally acclaimed voiceover actors.

Shaffy Bello as Emi (IG @iamshaffybello)
The Nigerian film actress and singer Shaffy Bello will be bringing her years of experience to this amazing project. She first shot into the entertainment scene when she featured vocals in a 1997 hit song by Seyi Sodimu titled “Love Me Jeje”. She grew up in the United States where she completed her education. Her first major film was Eti Keta, a Yoruba film.
Sisan Victor-Woko as Dara (IG @kweensisan)
Sisan Victor-Woko, aka KweenSisan, is a Nigerian media personality, leadership coach, and media and behavioral change strategist known for her work empowering youths and creating impact through media. She is the founder of the Moments with the Kween Community Initiative and podcast, which focuses on self-leadership and societal impact. She has a background in broadcast journalism, content creation, and VO acting.
Ike Ononye as Ishe
Ike is an actor and voice over artist, born in London, UK to West African parents. He has worked extensively in Television, Film, Theatre, Radio, Podcasts and Animated Features both in the UK and Internationally. Multi-lingual, Ike also voices over numerous adverts and documentaries.
Babajide Oyekunle as Joba (IG @oyexbaba)
Babajide is a Nigerian male doctor, voiceover artist and sound designer with a smooth, calming baritone voice that elevates each and every brand. Years of experience lending his vocal and editing skills to brands like Cartoon Network, MAX and MTN have made him an exceptional force in his area and beyond.
Lord Frank as Deso (IG @thelordfrank)
Lord Frank is Nigerian actor and voice over artist, who is credited in over 30 films and TV shows. At one point he visited the United States, and returned in 2011 in Nigeria to start a career in acting.
Adesua Etomi-Wellington as Olori (IG @adesuaetomi)
Tolulope Adesua Etomi-Wellington widely known as Adesua Etomi is a Nigerian actress and entrepreneur. She debuted her film career with Knocking on Heaven’s Door (2014). Since then she has starred in several films and received many awards, including the 2016 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards.
Serah Johnson as Iyanu (IG @_serahjohnson)
Meet Serah Johnson, a multi-award-winning voice actor and sound engineer with over 7 years of experience in storytelling through sound. She is the first African to win Outstanding Narration, TV or Film at the Society of Voice Arts Awards.
She is also the voice behind the show’s protagonist Iyanu in the Cartoon Network series with same nomenclature and would be retaining her iconic character in the soon to be released Movie.
Okey Jude as Biyi (IG @okeyjudeofficial)
Okey Jude is a Nollywood actor, model, news anchor and voice over artist known for movies like Sweet Revenge, Bling Lagosians and Tinsel. He will be playing the voice of Biyi in Iyanu: The Age of Wonders.
Samuel Kugbiyi as Toye (IG @samuelkugbiyi)
With nearly a decade of experience, Samuel Kugbiyi shines as an actor, writer, voiceover artist, songwriter, and visual artist.
He’s co-founder of SAK Productions, creating impactful content for organizations like UNESCO and the BBC.
Samuel’s voice talents feature in global projects like Story-Story (BBC) critically acclaimed tv series, Iyanu and now upcoming movie.
Dora Cruz as Meji (IG @thexplorabydora)
Dora Cruz is a voice actor who plays the character of Meji in the animated movie Iyanu: The Age of Wonders. In the film, Meji is described as the “embodiment of the 7 Deadly Sins”.
