A virtual conversation on the future of audiobooks and narration in Ghana is set to take place this Sunday, July 27th, bringing together storytellers, voice artists, publishers, and literature enthusiasts. Organized by Prince Dan Vessel, founder of the Ghana voice actors community as well as host of the voice over playbook podcast, the webinar will run from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM GMT on Google Meet.
The free online event, themed “The Future of Audiobooks & Narration in Ghana,” will feature top industry names; Ama Dadson, founder of AkooBooks Audio — Ghana’s pioneering audiobook platform and veteran actress and renowned audiobook narrator Rama Brew.
The discussion will explore opportunities and challenges in the growing audiobook industry and highlight how storytelling through voice can amplify African stories for wider audiences.
However the official webinar link would be shared on the day of event, inviting writers, narrators, publishers and lovers of audio storytelling to be part of the conversation.
