The Association of Voiceover Artists Nigeria (AVOA) has inaugurated a new set of executive members to lead the Association for the next four years.

The swearing-in ceremony was held on the 13th of June, at the AVOA Voice House in Surulere, Lagos, where members gathered to witness the formal transition of leadership.
Leading the swearing-in was AVOA’s newly reinstated president, veteran actor and voiceover icon Segun Arinze. In his address, Arinze reaffirmed his commitment to advancing AVOA’s mission and responding proactively to industry changes.
He emphasised that a major focus of his new tenure will be advocating legislative protection for Nigerian voice talents, especially in light of the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He also promised to increase efforts in educating members on how to use AI to their advantage.
