Plans have been put in place to expand the reach of the Association of Voice Over Artists Nigeria (AVOA), beyond Lagos, it’s current headquarters.

This development came after AVOA’s President, Segun Arinze held his first-ever meeting with voice actors in Abuja FCT, in line with his commitment to AVOA’s expansion and fostering greater inclusivity.
The recently held meeting in Abuja also tackled other vital issues, including, standardizing payment rates, educating clients on the value of professional voiceovers, legal protection for artists, and preparing for AI’s impact on the VO industry.
Following successful deliberations, plans have now been set in motion to establish Abuja as a standalone chapter, which would warrant registration fees for pioneer members. Also preparations are underway for VoiceFest Festival to spotlight emerging talents in the industry.
